Terms of Service
Last updated: July 12, 2026 · CheckMyStore.ai is a product of Northstar Flux LLC (“we”, “us”). By using this site or service you agree to these terms.
1. What the service is
CheckMyStore.ai runs automated accessibility scans of publicly accessible web pages, checks them against WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules, produces plain-English reports with screenshot evidence, and — for paid subscribers — re-scans monthly and maintains a dated compliance record.
2. Not legal advice, not a compliance guarantee
This is the most important section, so we'll be blunt: the service reports findings and risk. It is not legal advice, and no scan result — including a clean one — means your website is compliant with the ADA, the European Accessibility Act, or any other law. Automated checks catch many accessibility issues but not all of them. We never certify compliance, and nothing on this site creates an attorney-client relationship. For legal questions, consult a lawyer; before making any compliance claim, get a manual accessibility review.
3. Acceptable use
You may scan publicly accessible pages for lawful purposes — evaluating your own store, a store you manage, or a store you're authorized to assess. You may not use the service to harass site owners, to circumvent technical protections, or in any way that violates applicable law. We may rate-limit or block abusive use.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Store Monitoring is billed at $199 per month per store, and the Agency plan at $1,000 per month, through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges at the end of the paid period. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice — changes never apply retroactively.
5. Refunds
Your first payment is fully refundable within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked — email us and we'll cancel and refund it. After the first 30 days, payments for periods already delivered are not refunded; you can cancel anytime to stop future charges. If you're an EU consumer, your statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies in addition to this policy.
6. Your data and your reports
Scan reports and compliance records generated for your stores are yours to use, share, and export. We retain them to provide the service (that's what a dated record is for) — see the Privacy Policy for how data is handled and how to request deletion. The software, site, and brand remain ours.
7. Service availability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise uninterrupted operation. Some websites block automated browsing; scans of those sites may fail or return partial results, and that isn't a defect in the service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost profits, legal claims, demand letters, lawsuits, settlements, or regulatory penalties relating to your website's accessibility — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $100 if you've paid nothing). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Termination
You can stop using the service anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or abusive use. If we terminate without cause, we'll refund any prepaid, undelivered period.
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page, and for subscribers we'll give notice before changes take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Northstar Flux LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
